My story, I'm trying to build more of a long term travel adventure rig, not something capable of extreme rock crawling (like I thought) I want to spend a week camping on the trail out in the middle of no where.

 

Always looking to get more out of my jeep.

 

Thanks Genesis Off Road for this opportunity. We are planning a long overland trip. It will be about 500 miles (2 weeks) culminating with a run thru the Rubicon Trail. This would be a great addition to my Jeep.

 

My story is I wanna be like one of these guys with all the options but will only do it if the support of a dual battery system is there. Thanks for doing this for the members!

 

I live at elevation in BC, and am keen to explore more if its' rugged backcountry. Having a dual battery system would not only provide enough additional power to run trail accessories but also a peace of mind knowing my rig will make it back out.

 

[SUP]For me it's all about Ham Radio. I think I killed my Prius aux battery by transmitting HF while parked. A dual battery solution in my JKU might prevent that particular dilemma from happening again. I once had a chat with someone in Kuwait from the car while on the way to go sailing in rural Virginia.[/SUP]

 

Even though it's been years since I've had battery issues I'm always prepared to help out.
Being a youth football coach we always get a parent or two that needs a jump after practice.

 

My battery died an our outside of Indianapolis, IN, on a trip from Conway, AR, to Detroit, MI. I had to wait two hours for a tow truck. Stay overnight in a hotel while the local dealership changed my battery. At least the battery was under warranty.
