Winner Announced - JDaPP: Genesis Off Road Dual Battery System Giveaway
#162
My story is that we were tailgating for several hours while I was blasting my after market stereo system...fast forward to after the game and dead battery for me. Sure could have used a separate battery to start the jeep up that night.

What exactly is "My Story"
Hello all, and good luck to everyone, i just hope i'm the happiest person when this thread ends.
My story is this:
I purchased the jeep when i was a newlywed, and still in the military. My wife wanted it so i gave in to no longer having a full sized truck. It was a heck of a change, and then my wife begged me to lift it. I saw no point in it, then i got onto the forums to research. Next thing I know, the jeep community had engulfed me. I was able to get a set of take off shocks from an old lift and purchased some second hand track bars, pucks, wheel spacers, and brake lines. As i've found things were needed, i've purchased them, slowly but surely. I have since left the military, and am now seeking further education, and my budget has since dropped quite significantly. I've been able to get a few parts here and there, spending most money on getting a winch and spare tire. My wife and I do all the work on the jeep ourselves and it has proven to be great bonding time together. Our dog is a rescue from the pound, 5 years old, and has recently finished her heartworm treatment, so we decided to take her on her first trip. 15 minutes into the ride, it's her new favorite thing to do and we can't get her out of the jeep. My family, though small, has become a jeep family.

I've already drained my battery by forgetting to run the engine while airing up my tires. This should surely help out I would think.
One a side note: Any chance for a possible discount or group buy for the losers?
