Default Wrangler sound bar not loud?!?!?!

07 JKU..... I have a sound bar that isn't loud at all. Its pointless. I have looked at a lot of other threads but never really got a good answer. I do not have the Infinity Sound System so I am guessing I do not have a amp. I was going to just upgrade the two speakers to see if that fixes the issue. Does anyone else have this issue and knows a definite solution??? Is the stock non infinity head unit not strong enough to power the two extra speakers or??

Thanks

I have a stock 2010 jk sport all I have done sound wise is replace my speakers. Found it made a huge difference. I still wouldn't mind put an amp to them. I still run the stock head unit as well.

my tweeters and two dash speakers work fine, it is just the two sound bar speakers. Do you have a sound bar??

There are write ups about a set of pins in the harness for the hardtop needing to be jumpered to get full volume with the soft top. They are from a couple of years ago - I think it changed in 2011 or 2012

The sound bar speakers are handicapped for lack of better expression with the factory radios. If you really want to boost the sound, get an aftermarket radio. It will instantly increase the sound. Even replacing the speakers with the stock radio isn't going to do too much. It might sound better but won't do much for the volume itself.
