so i got everything wired up great on my buddies 2012, but when i twist the key the led lights stay on, why is this? what did i do wrong to make them not be off when key is twisted? and everything else works perfectly when i lock it they go off, and when i unlock they go on and are controlled by dome light switch. all of this is great besides when i twist the key they automatically come on! why????

 

Sounds like you tapped into the wrong wire...
