Theres an access hole in the driver side firewall ( just poke through it with a screw driver and then run the wires ) and heres a thread for the passenger side. The passenger side if a different location than the driver.

On my 08, there is a hole that goes through the dash on the upper passenger side of the dash. If you open that panel on the end of the dash, you'll see it. Its filled with foam. Straighten out a wire hanger and you can poke right through it. It will lead wires right to your battery.

If you don't want to use the easy access behind the dash side panels holes, then peruse the instructions for the sPod. They have behind dash access points for both manuals and autos.
