Default Wireless Control (TPMS) U1114

I thought my left front tire TPMS was bad, but it checked out ok according to the tire shop I went to. The actual error code states: U1114 lost communication with left front tire pressure trigger module. Anyone else have this problem and how did you fix it?
Thanks,
Russell

Where is the trigger module located?

Well, I'd agree with you that the "trigger module" is actually the sensor itself in the wheel, and that is communicating with the WCM, which is what our TPMS runs through.

This thread from "elsewhere" has one of the best descriptions I've seen over the years I think -

What is even more odd is that the service manual does not even have this code in it. It skips right over this code in sequence like it does not exist.
