Something basically like this??? I understand what this diagram is telling me to do exactly...

the amps are based upon a 100 watt + lighting system... i assume since mine came with 15 fuse.. and are 55 watt lights.. i can use that wiring. Or should i upgrade the fuse to?

i still can't think of a way to use the factory switch and make them stay on all the time - even with the brights.

Hey very nice.... I wasn't sure this would work, glad to hear it does. I'd like to take advantage of the stock switch as well. Job well done! and thanks for posting the wiring diagrams.

Did your kit come with the relay or did you buy one separate?

i had to buy a relay... autozone for 4 bucks.

after getting the relay... this is what i did.

1) mounted lights to bumper
2) spliced ground cable to factory ground harness
3) ran new power cable from lights to relay (not sure which number it correlates to, but the instructions on the relay package were sufficient)
4) ran ground cable from relay to any metal surface on the vehicle.
5) tapped into factory "switch" (splice a wire from the factory fog power cable) and ran to relay (again... dont remember number)
6) ran fused power source from battery to relay.

thats about it and she works like a champ! I will try to post pics later on. And to attach the relay into your engine compartment, i used the 3M double sided foam sticky tape so i did not have to drill.

cleaned it up with some extra black tubing to cover the wires and that was that.

Default Help please to use factory switch

I have been reading the comments above and the diagram. I have 2 PIAA 525's and 2 PIAA 510's. I would like the factory fog switch on the colum to trigger all 6 lights ( 4 PIAA's and the factory fogs)

I understand I need a relay switch. My questions are:

1: Can I do this?

2: How do I utilize the wiring that comes with the PIAA's ( They come with a switch, reley, fuse etc.

Any help would be great.

if your piaa's come with the relays use them and run the wiring how ever you like and find the siwtched wire off the column to control the piaa's relays your going to follow whatever directions piaa give you your just use the stock switch not piaa's
