If somebody can enlighten me on the rules of the road with these that would be wonderful......
Sounds like my wife! I know anything over the stock headlight is regulated to off road use only. Some states do require solid covers...Missouri is not one of them, not sure about Long Island. I have them running with my bright lights and can be switched on and off independently. I use them on road, have not been caught yet and the are great at night to make sure no creatures are venturing out in the roadway. It's all fun until you get caught. Personally I think they look great.

The funny thing is my 5 year old ratted me out with the lights!!! Lol. If it wasn't for him I don't think she would have noticed! I have the switch just to the right of the steering column. Looks really cool, the switch has an red led light when they are off and turns green when I have them on. They are hooked up with the parking lights. When I first got them I turned on the lights on a very dark road and WOW they are bright. Between the HIDS I have in my fog lights and these lights I should be ok for the crappy winter weather we get. I just don't want to annoy other drivers and certainly don't want a ticket!!!! Thanks

Usually in most states, the law is that ANY lights above your current headlights are ILLEGAL to use on paved roads. I wish it wasn't true, I love my windshield lights!!!

Well Im running 7 inch HID's from HID X, I would recomend that if anyone wants to get these lights they should go with the 4inch lights instead. I had to do some slight modification to brackets to make the lights fit, but they are awesome!
