I have them running with my bright lights and can be switched on and off independently. I use them on road, have not been caught yet and the are great at night to make sure no creatures are venturing out in the roadway. It's all fun until you get caught. Personally I think they look great.

Usually in most states, the law is that ANY lights above your current headlights are ILLEGAL to use on paved roads. I wish it wasn't true, I love my windshield lights!!!

Well Im running 7 inch HID's from HID X, I would recomend that if anyone wants to get these lights they should go with the 4inch lights instead. I had to do some slight modification to brackets to make the lights fit, but they are awesome!
