I think I'm going with the KC 6" 130w LR Slimlites on KC brackets. It seems that a lot of you went with the Long Range, but I'm not 100% sure this is what I want. I can't tell if they're too focused for my purposes. Did anyone get the LR and wish they got the Driving lights?

Do the KC brackets come with a gasket or is it metal-on-metal? The Rugged Ridge ones on Quadratec come with such a gasket, look almost exactly like the KC bracket (identical besides the weld), and are $5 cheaper. I've seen comparisons between the Mopar and the KC bracket, but not between the KC and the Rugged Ridge bracket.

Also, could someone with this configuration post a picture from the driver's seat so we can see how much area is blocked by the 6" light on KC brackets?

I have Hella 500s. Just got them to replace my KC daylighters. I like the slim look now, better than the fat KCs that I had.

^after^ KCs shown below

$35 from Ebay for lights kit. $25 for brackets. Works great, and love the look.
