Will 4 ohm speakers work with REQ 6 disc Head Unit?

Will 4 ohm speakers work with REQ 6 disc Head Unit?
Arghhh... Having a nightmare trying to sort my audio system out.... I currently have sittingn here, a set of 6.5 '4 ohm' Components and a pair of 6.5 '4 ohm' coaxials while waiting to either buy a new head unit, or a new amp....
But I want to fit the new speakers ASAP!!!!
Please, can someone clarify for me, If I fit these speakers with my current 'stock' HU will it work 'OK' ? will it sound ok, or will it be too quite? am I going to mess up the speakers or will they be fine? How will the sound/volume compare to the stock 'non' infinity sound at the moment (prety rubbish so can't be much worse!).
Anyway, WILL THESE 4ohm speakers work 'as is'???
