I traded in an 05 Acura TSX that had factory HID's..
They looked good and lit the road well.
But, A. After having 68K on them one stopped working and cost $225 to replace. And B. I was so sick and tired of people flashing their brights at me.
Im happy with the H13 bulbs in the JK. (just upgraded them to Silverstar for a whopping $40)

Love my HID's and will never drive anyhting without em again. Even going to get a set for my '79 K5 and '64 Baja. Although it helps that me and a bud order them in bulk direct from the source.

I want a pair of Hella Rallye 4000 Xenon lights for off-road use. Maybe after I get my bumpers, winch, half doors, soft top, and skid plates.
Where's the "empty pockets" smiley?

that's the BI-XENON part. its a special bulb.
"The H4/9003 Bi-Xenon bulbs in the bi-xenon kit stay fixed and there is a shield that covers and uncovers the capsule of the xenon bulb as you switch from low to high beam, thus changing the beam pattern. The high beam gives an upward projection and the low beam gives a forward projection. You will maintain the same beam pattern with dramatic increase in intensity and distance."
I'm thinking about trying it.
