Yeah, I'm not sure why they don't seem to answer that e-mail, but I get immediate response through the other forum or if I call. They have been very helpful, and the unit works as intended. With a 16 month little girl, we desperately needed something to keep the screaming down (she hated the car for anything longer than a 10 minute ride...).
I've emailed them several times with no response at all. I wont buy from someone like that. Are there any other options for unlocking the mygig?
By the way, as of 2008 Jeep is sending ALL myGigs with DVD completely disabled! It is up to you to find a dealer with the proper machine (something called a Star machine I think) and convince them to unlock it.

What's the Allgig? Another company with a software to by-pass or wiring to by-pass the disabled video capabilities? I can't believe something like that is hundreds of dollars...but I will read more about these and see where it can be cheaper.
