Yeah, I'm not sure why they don't seem to answer that e-mail, but I get immediate response through the other forum or if I call. They have been very helpful, and the unit works as intended. With a 16 month little girl, we desperately needed something to keep the screaming down (she hated the car for anything longer than a 10 minute ride...).

By the way, as of 2008 Jeep is sending ALL myGigs with DVD completely disabled! It is up to you to find a dealer with the proper machine (something called a Star machine I think) and convince them to unlock it.

If they don't have the Star system you do not want to use them anyhow. The Star system is the computer program/link through the Internet for current software and firmware updates for your Jeep.

I didnīt get an answer to my e-mail as well. Wanted to purchase the bluegig. As I am a german, it would be helpful via e-mail due to possible accent and time issues.

What's the Allgig? Another company with a software to by-pass or wiring to by-pass the disabled video capabilities? I can't believe something like that is hundreds of dollars...but I will read more about these and see where it can be cheaper.

AllGig is NavTV's box that includes their BlueGig and FreeGig in one module.. Basically enables the Bluetooth, voice features, and the ability to watch DVD's and input Nav settings on the fly.
