Ok I ordered the kicker 6.5 speaker upgrade for the sound bar and the front. I have the 430n with alpine sub. I don't wat to go to crazy but my sub blows. Do I get the kicker cvr82 and just plug and play or do I get the sub and the replacement kicker amp? Not a stereo guy so don't know alot about it/

I just installed this:

Its a powered 12" sub, super easy to install yourself, running wires is the most difficult. I've measured SPL levels(with a rockford app) above 100db with a lot of room to go higher but i'm not into ripping my ear drums so this setup kills it. I have my remote level set to about 25% and it sounds magical.

As a reference: 85db spl is acceptable, but will cause damage over time, permanent damage occurs at 120db, human pain threshold is 130db.

Are you putting and amp to the fronts?

You mentioned before the kicker upgrade thing in the stock enclosure which could be good, but this guy says not worth it:

What about upgrading your amp first?

I know kicker makes an upgraded amp to fit where the factory one does or I think anyway I would do that if it is worth it
