Default What tool tool did you use to remove the radio?

I want to install my mic mount behind the radio and cannot find a tool to remove the screws? I have tried every tool I have and canot find one that fits the screw head. What tool have you guys and gals been using to remove the screws? I can remove the dash center panel and the bottom panel but when I get to the screws I cannot get them out!

Should be a 10mm socket or a Torx T-15

My 10mm socket is too big? What is a Torx T-15? is it a wrench? or a screw driver? Shouldn't I be able to get one at Lowes or Home Depot?

It's a driver. A torx is like a star, or an *astric*.........kinda like a doubled up phillips head. You'll recognize it as soon as you see one. As yes, you can get them at either place.

Its actually a 7mm socket. I have a 1/4 drive flex driver that works perfect..

I've taken my dash apart about 10 times and it works like a charm every time.

There's a video out there of some guy pulling his radio out in about 30 seconds. Maybe someone still has the link.
Its the easiest stereo I have ever removed.
