I know this is probably a rhetorical question but Do the dealers even have the capabilities to have the Video safety feature turned on. I know there has been mention of it being shut off at the dealer but I wondered about it being cut on? I know the dealer would never do it for you but maybe you could bribe a mechanic.
Oh and also Skydyvyr stated that the Mygig was available in 20 and 30 gb units
1: how do you tell what you got?
2: was there a choice when ordering my new jeep?

--There are currently only two ways to upload media files to your MyGig; ripping a CD/DVD or a USB thumb drive. CD/DVD ripping (or copying data files) is reported to be a very time consuming task -- the MyGig does this very slowly. Media files on a USB storage device can be played or viewed directly from the device or copied to the internal HD and played from there. You should note that an Ipod is not considered a USB Storage Device and is not currently compatible with the USB connector on the MyGig.

Where is the MyGig software update website? Mine was just installed today and the manual says to go to http://www.chrysler.com/mygig/ but that just goes to the Sebring page.

There is no choice of 20 or 30gb models. The newer ones it sounds like are just coming with larger drives I guess.

That is correct.
