thanks man. Ya I have it hooked up to my $250 mygig. I used a cheapo line-level converter (also was in the closet) tapped into my front channels. I would normally use the rear for a sub out but the rear channel is puny cause they thought people would complain about a buzzing soundbar I guess.
I replaced those dinky RCA cables since this photo, but still using the cheapo RCA converter with no issues (they are actually great for the money, I have used them on a ton of installs)
highs are reproduced with crossfire speakers (were also in my closet):
I have spent almost nothing on this system. The mygig (RER) was new in the box for $260 including shipping, $31 for the GPS antenna at the dealer, and $50 for the P3 from my friend at the car audio place. The rest was stuff I had laying around already.

I am about to build my 4th sub for the JK. I can't make up my mind on what I want. First I built a huge downfire ported enclosure and threw a crossfire audio 12" sub in it. Then I put a fosgate P3 slim sub on the tailgate (12") and right now I have the P3 8" in a factory enclosure. Next up.... you will have to wait and see.
P3 12" on the tailgate:
