Have you solved the issue with your electronic sway bar? Are you going to run with a mechanical set-up?
Has anyone had their circuit board repaired (where the wiring harness
plugs into) In my searches on the web I remember hearing of someone pulling the circuit board out of the swaybar and having it re-wired

Not yet. I'm east coast and everybody I talk to has had at least one replaced under warranty. Unbelievable. I'm going to pull the circuit board first and toy with that, if no luck. Then hard cable in. There must be a graveyard of these e discos in the Chrysler backlot. If I knew then what I know now, I'd have coated the wiring harness connector in two inches of hot melt glue at the minimum. Can't even laugh at my own joke this situation is so ridiculous.

I'll let you know if I figure anything out, I may try to remove the circuit board myself and see if I can hard wire or have the board repaired in some way.
I was in love with my vehicle until I found the sway bar light flashing and heard of the cost to correct the problem, I agree that this is an obvious design flaw and Chrysler (Jeep) should man up and replace the wiring harness and circuit board.

Sorry to hear about your crappy luck....but this does happen.....mine slowly got worse over the years trying to reconnect, until it just stopped working..I remained disconnected for a couple months....I got the quote to fix mine from the dealer, I told them to stuff it....I know of a few others who had theirs replaced under warranty a few times....the concept is good, but the freaking thing doesnt last, and it doesnt matter how many miles on your rig, it can happen at any time.
I replaced mine with Currie Anitrock sway bar, and have never looked back, never have to worry about disconnecting again, or having any problems with the sway bar again Currie and Tera Flex have this kit
Here's how I got the dummy light to stay off...I took removed the entire e-disco, smashed it with a hammer until I got inside to the circuit board that was a good feeling....removed the circuit board, wrapped the shit out of it with various electrical tape, and plugged it back into the jeep, and zap strapped it up in my bumper....idiot lights are out...done and done....I just dont hit the old sway bar disconnect button anymore....and if someone did, I just turn the jeep off and back on, and it clears it.
E-Disco = FAIL

Bump. I'm pissed. I should've bought a sport and built it. I just got a sport cage welded in, a snorkel, and bedlined tub. All great, except now I can't disconnect and who wants to wheel like that? Nobody. The only Rubicon features i still have are dan 44s, gears, and lockers. I probably just jinxed my lockers. Urg.

2007 jk 4door rubicon- We all know that the automatic swaybar disconnect wiring is pitiful, but this just takes the cake. I have repeatedly tried to waterproof the exposed wiring connection box that chrysler engineers dutifully placed in the worst possible spot, but after 4 years nature got around me. A bit of water seeped in and shorted the disconnect unit. I was driving down the highway in the rain!!! Result: first, dashboard lit up like a christmas tree, with guages going haywire. Then I made the mistake of actually slowing down and pulling over, shutting the engine off. And that was it. She wouldn't start and I needed a tow into the dealership. I was quoted $1800, yes, $1800 plus $150 for new harness. Apparently disconnect is not serviceable. I am 2000 miles over warranty and Chrysler says I am !%$ out of luck, they have had no record of issues with device.
What is going on here? I have been driving Jeeps for 20 odd years and have never experienced anything quite like this. An external device is so integrated into the jeeps electrical system that a bit of water shut her down. Now I have had plenty of breakdowns in the rough, blown universals or shafts and the like, but a stinking little electrical part that wreaks havoc to the point of complete shutdown? This whole business of "trail rated" is such a joke! Please be warned, this will happen to you, 2007 or newer rubi owner, so be prepared when it comes.
by the way, does anybody know how to disable or trick the swaybar electrical system to get rid of the flashing dash light? I am trying to figure out a way to manually switch the swaybar on or off independant of the TIPM, I know the hardware is fine, its the elecrtical connections that need fixing.
