Default USB Dash Kit

I was wondering if there was such a thing as a usb female port that mounts flush on the dash or the center storage? I've noticed that most headunits have the usb port in the back. If I could run a short usb cable from the back of the headunit to the flushmount it would be pretty nice. I've noticed a kit by Simple called the tranzit, but it doesn't work with the headunit. I still want to control the ipod through the stereo and steering wheel controls.

I am planning on running a long wire to my Tuffy glove box or Tuffy underseat drawer so I can leave my IPOD there permanantly.

Plugging and unplugging to prevent theft is getting old

Exactly. Having it inside the center console would be perfect for me.

I have a 2010 so not real familiar with the newer models.. If you have steering wheel controls, doesn't your JK also come with a USB in the console or glove box ? If so, add a Tuffy glove box or center console ?

Don't mean to muddy -up your thread. Just throwing out some suggestions

Something like these, USB and can get combo USB and 3.5 Aux port...
