Uconnect Setup

Have a 2014 With the Uconnect non Navigation single cd unit. When I press the phone button it says that Uconnect is ready but when I say setup it gives me a list of all the possible commands. The radio acts like it doesn't hear me. What do I do?

What are you trying to setup? The commands listed should pertain to the setup you want to do. You can pair audio device, pair phone , etc

Let me know if I am misunderstanding your question.

I figured out the problem. The hand holds the dealer installed cut the wires from the microphone to the stereo. They are replacing the mic next week.
