Default Uconnect and JPG's - HELP ME PLEEEEEEEEEASE

I've searched this forum high and low, bought a new USB thumb drive, spent at least three hours trying to sort it out.

I'm about to quit and admit defeat. I need your help.

How the hell do you get your uconnect to recognise a Mac formatted USB drive to upload JPG images so they can be viewed in the jeep?

Please help as I'm going craaaaaaaaazy

Paul

Try putting any one random .mp3 file on the memory stick along with the .jpg files that you want.

I had to do this before the system would recognize the memory stick, I think it looks for an .mp3 file before it will open to transfer the .jpg's. This was a windows computer though, I'm not sure of the MAC, in theory if the file extensions are the same so it should work.
