Default Turn signal mod for 2012 models?

I was wondering if for 2012s, the side marker flashes for the turn signal, or do you have to modify it to make it flash?

this is a great easy mod, that every jeep should have, mostly for safety...

Just did mine this afternoon. Most difficult part is working in tight space with the side marker wiring. My dealer is an AEV dealer and they are pretty open to most changes made to Jeeps.

Default any pics or vids of how to get the fender marker light lenses off?

I bought some clear lenses but just can't figure out how to remove the stock ones. I took off the clip inside the fenderwell and got that plastic piece pulled back and I got out the clip closest to the ground on the fender itself but still couldn't get the lense to come out. What else do I have to remove?

Thanks....JD

There's a thread on here, that says it's easier with two people. But I did it myself.
The lens is just sandwiched between the fender and inner-fender.
Disconnect the wire, then pull the fender & inner-fender apart from the bottom, pull down on the lens piece until the top peg is clear. You're on the right track. You've just got to finesse it.
