Default Trying to put in after market stereo

I have a 2016 Jeep Wrangler unlimited with the alpine speakers and factory sub and I've heard a few things about the sub some say I need to by pass it and others say I can just get a wiring harness. If there is an wiring harness what would I need

Which head unit are you upgrading to? I can recommend this Sony 6000 Bundle which will come to you prewired with all of the harnesses already attached for a plug and play install. It'll retain all factory settings including your factory sub! Happy to help if I can-
