Default Trucklite hi beam problem

I saw a thread before and couldn't find the one I was thinking of where a guy had this same exact problem. I found other similar threads but not the one I was looking for so maybe u can help.

Tonight an asshole BMW was behind me with hi beams on so I flashed my rear leds and he kept them on so I let him pass and let him have it with all my lights, once he turned I turned all my lights off and then my hi beams off too. At this point I notice a light flashing like a strobe reflecting off road signs. I look around d see nobody on the road and know it's one of my lights. I pulled over and looked and my passenger side hi beam was flickering on and off like a police car! Wtf I don't want a ticket! So here I remember a guy having a problem when he turns highs off his passenger side would stay on for a few sec then flash the go off and that's what mine did. Couldn't find the thread. Outta nowhere the light flickers and then just turns itself on. Just the passenger side. It stayed on for more than 5 min, the flickered and shut off. Now it seems to be working until fine. (knock on wood) I drove home without touching my high beams when I got home I flashed them, toggled them on, shut them off, flashed fast, they're working fine now but I know this happened for a reason, and if it happened once it will happen again. Any ideas?

This happened to my lights and usually happens after running my high beams for an extended period. I think it's an issue with the pulse modulation harness connection not holding tight but I don't know. I sent videos to TL and they told me I needed a harness so I told them to watch the video, this isn't flickering, this is a serious problem and that we had already replaced both harnesses anyway. They told me to switch the lights side to side to see if the lights or the truck were the problem. I haven't had a problem but haven't run my high beams for an extended period yet.

I knew I wasn't the only one! I was thinking it was because of that too (them being on for a while, but my while was only about a mile and a half) I usually use my led bars if it's dark not my high beams. I've run my high beams on longer than that before but I guess not cuz it's never don't that before. Well hopefully it won't happen again. Thanks! Guess we just got to deal with it.....

I'd like to see a video of just how bad the delay is. We've got a JKUR with the trucklites, and there's a delay from high-low. We've also got a sport with stock headlamps, but I don't remember the delay being any better or worse between the two vehicles. They seem to be about the same. Because of the pulse modulation or canbus or whatever the hell controls the high beams (the switch is just an input), it seems like there's a second lag at least even in stock config. It's not terribly bothersome except for the fact that it's not instantaneous.

It was about a 5sec delay after turning off the high beans that the passenger side would stay on then flick on and off like a strobe light before shutting off

My Drivers side started doing this on Low beam the other day. I got out tapped the glass and it stopped and stayed on, I haven't had the problem since.

Let me know if there is a solution. I have the TL and harness from northridge.

I took mine out and swapped sides. I think the harnesses are somehow coming loose or don't have a good connection.
