Well, for the electrical part of using a JK towbar: Front Tow Wiring Harness (allows tow vehicle to control Jeep tail lights) part #82211156

Subscribed... Also curious on this... And wondering if I could safetly flat tow my Unlimitted on 35" tires with my commander? I use to flat tow my TJ with my F-150 and that was very nice.

Smile Tow Bar

Warrior Products makes a tow bar with D-ring mounts that should work with the AEV Bumper, I will let you know. Papabear

Hmmmm... Then it would probably work with the Shrockworks that I have. I have to do some more homework... I think Currie makes one too.

I don't know what your bumper looks like but here's how I came up with a way to tow without losing ground clearance; drhines did a write up when he did his.
Hope this helps

I've got the Currie setup. The tow bar attaches to a currie skid plate that is designed to work with the stock Mopar bumper. I do not think it would work with the AEV setup and the tow bar is kinda crappy. I have it installed, but haven't towed with it yet. I have seen references that a Demco tow bar will work with the Currie skid plate as well, but I haven't verified this.
