Default Tire carrier license plate mount ?

Just ordered the lic plate mount that mounts on the carier in the center of the tire , was wondering if anybody has any suggestions or ideals on wiring the light with a carrier that seperate from the tailgate? I am not opposed to not having a light if I cant come up with a good way to make it work and still hide the wire well.

I bet the same person that makes the plate mount makes a light kit with quick disconnect to tie to your existing wiring.

Like this: PlateLITE License Plate 3rd Brake Light

I made my own mount that works with the Rockstar wheels because they have extra holes for different lug patterns. I tapped my own light into the existing system tapping in at the wires just before they exit the tub on your passengers side. If you move the carpet in the top corner you will see where they exit to the tail light and to the tail gate through a mesh wire chase. I fished the wire through the tail gate and through the wire mesh and kept everything looking like stock no exposed wires and it all works great. There are some write ups of people who have fished the wires down through the lower part of the passengers side tail light and then into a seperate tire carrier.

Here's mine (sorry about the bad night pic):

What carrier/bumper are you running? You can run the wires down arm of the carrier to the bumper. Tuck the wires betweenthe bumper and the body of your rig and up the corner to the tail light. Tap into the park lamp wire and ground and you should be good to go. For the third brake lamp, you tap into the brake lamp wire.

I ran the wires from under the jeep then above the bumper and along the tubes to the plate. I ran then alongside my antennae wire. I cut a notch in the rear bumper to prevent cutting the wires when I drop off ledges onto the bumper.

I only need to run wires for the lic plate light i dont run a 3rd brake light . But i was thinking the same ideal of runnin the wires down the carrier , behind the bumper than up to the tail light harness. I am running the smitybilt xrc bumper.
