Default those of you with hid fog lights

Can you give me an idea how the wiring goes for the hid conversion fog lights. Do you have to wire to your battery?

Nope, if you're talking about replacing your factory fogs with HID bulbs and ballasts it's just plug and play.

Yep. What he said.

Just get the H13 version. Pull out the factory bulbs. Connect the Jeep plug to the input of the ballast. Connect the output of the Ballast/Igniter. My igniter was seperate. Connect the two wires to the bulb. The bulb connections are polarized so it is impossible to cross them.

Including time to zip tie the ballast to the frame, it took me 30 minutes.

I though the fogs were 9145, the headlights are H13 (9008)

You're right. I keep getting H10 and H13 confused. H13 is the headlights. H10 is the fogs.

Thanks for setting me straight.

How are you attaching the digital ballast to the frame? My ballasts came with mounting tabs with holes so I ended up just using self tapping screws and drilling them into the inside of the bumper. I'm thinking about sandwiching some double sided foam tape between the bumper and the ballast to reduce vibrations. Whadya guys think? The light these put out is amazing!

For now mine are being hled on with two zip ties. When I change the bumper I will fab something up. I though about the double sided tape but a lot of water can get splashed up there just driving in rain.

I like mine even though I used the factory reflectors. The change in output was drastic.
