Default Third brake light extension?

Is there a wire extension I can buy? How do I make the wire longer to plug it in?

Ya that's what I was going to do but I thought they would sell a harness ext. with plugs on the ends or something like that. Oh well. Thanks.

It's easier/cheaper to cut the wire and extend it. It should be 16-gauge.

Unfortunately no, at least as I have seen. I have the Mopar bumper/swing away tirecarrier and third brake light. They don't even provide a plug for that one. They give you the third brakelight mounted and bare wire ends. You need to snip off the end of the OE one and splice it in. If I gave it some thought, I would have just taken apart the OE one and installed it into the new one.

Thanks for the correction. It's been a while since I've dealt with it.
