I have the 6 speed and the daystar switch panel and have no problem with the gear shift or the boot. I guess I got lucky, sure glad I didn't buy that thing and then find that I couldn't use it.

After seeing the panel on another post with the daystar switch I see how it could be a problem. I didn't use their switches.

only problem I had was the fuse that came with the kit burned out right away so I went with a bigger one. Happy with the setup though
