I have heard conflicting rumors about what is offered in the JK as far as indicator lights. I have heard that the JK Unlimited Sahara comes with indicator lights on the dash that show outside temp., direction of vehicle, and miles left on gas tank. Can anyone verify any of these? Still waiting on mine!! THANKS!

 

My JK Sahara has outside temp, Direction, Miles till empty, Miles per Gallon, Running time and 2 trip od.
Sitting here at my desk I think there is more but I can't remember.
But I am sure of the above.

I just noticed your signature and the 07 JK Unlimited, Black, Sahara with 18" wheels and tow package is what I am driving. I am not sure it is LOADED but it sure seems like it compared to my 82' CJ 5 Renegade which was LOADED for 82'

 

Thanks for the info. Miles until empty is cool! I ordered the MyGig as well. It became available when I placed my ordered. Looks like a cool feature. Cant wait to get it. I saw one on lot recently with the 18"s. They look great!

 

My Unlimited X has the same thing. I am sure that all JK's do. Degrees, position, DTE, running time etc. Really cool!!

 

When you say running time do you mean like an hour meter?

I always thought that would be a cool feature on these since we spend so much time idling waiting for people to get thru obstacles.

 

Yes, it is cool. And as someone who spends a fair amount of time on the water, so I'm used to tracking this on other motors, I too thought it would be very cool to log hours between oil changes, and etc. Unfortunately though I should have read the manual first instead of just trying it and I reset the meter. I think I know about how much time was on the meter, oh well lesson learned.

 

It's not really an hour meter. It just tells you how long it has been sense the on board computer has been reset. This is where it gathers the data like for the MPG and other stuff as well. If you think your average mile per gallon is incorrect then you can reset the computer and it will reanalyze you average mpgs.

 

It is standard on the Sahara but for the Unlimited X you have to purchase the "S" package.

 

How DO you reset the hour meter. I have reset MPG but the hour meter hasn't changed at all?

 

Just like the MPG, when the hour meter is displayed hold in the reset button on the display
