Default ipf versus Sylvania
Any idea on how much a difference the ipf lights are versus the Sylvania bulbs. Is it worth $170 dollars?

The IPF bulbs are very white with a hint of blue. I am happy with mine.

Its not the bulbs, it is their power source. Read this and other posts by Hilldweller for some real data.. You will save yourself some money. No Halogen bulb is going to work well connected to the CANBUS.
