Thumbs up Sweet build!

Really nicely done! Once I get my workshop back, I may have to use this idea.

Any chance you want to whip up another one and sell it to me??
Thats the best looking aftermarket sub enclosure I've come across.

The line-X is genius on that enclosure. Gives it that rugged look. Thanks for the idea and pics.

Looks real nice. And those L series Kickers pound pretty darn good. Well done.

Didn't realize I had replies in here this year. Well thanks and here is an update. It is still going strong. One advantage that I have found is that a few times I have had water on it and let me tell you the line x seals it well. Water is bad on mdf and there is none getting to it with is setup. It still sounds good although it could be better with a better head unit. Using a loc is not the optimal way to get your signal. My CD player on the stock head unit quit on me so it may be time to upgrade. The pics are there if you want to copy it. Really all you need to do this project is a good miter saw, router to round the edges, hand drill, screws, some bondo, and wood glue. Just ask and I can help with any other questions on a build.

how does this sound when the top is off? do you think a down-firing box would be better for topless?

Very nice box, think I might base my down fire off of this design.
