My thoughts exactly, still have yet to measure to see what kind of clearance is under the seat when it's laid down to see if it's feasible to still place subs in this location, because plain and simple, I dig it.

I thought of just doing a box under the rear drivers side folding seat this way you could still fold the larger section down when needed. Would lose just the small section. I need to fold seats down pretty regularly, wish I couldve built that one under them though Looks so sweat if you dont need to fold your seats down and or don't want to take it in and our all the time...

Saw a pair of nice subs under a Bronco. Hole cut in the rear floor under the seat. Sub box built and glassed then mounted up against the floor. Had one on either side of the driveline. Boxes were small enough to not cause any clearance issues. Took up zero room in the cab. I was impressed with the setup and sound. I like the stock Infinity system well enough....For now...

ive never laid the seats down at all. I would LOVE to squeeze it all under the rear seats. I actually called around to a few shops today and sent them the pics of the box that was fiberglassed posted above. I had one of them call me back and they told me they can make it fit with the specs i gave them. Im going to have to come up with an idea for the amps, but i should be getting a fiberglass sealed box for the 4 Kicker CompVX 10's i have.
For the amps I'm thinking that the raised floor in the trunk would work. Hmmmm.... ideas ideas

The MTX Thunderform worked really well for me in the past. Downward firing and blend right in, plus don't take up much room.

I really like the thundeform, but for what I would pay for one I can have a box made to house all 4 of my L7's

I am planning on having a box built that looks like an instatrunk, but has the sub and amp on the right side, while the rest of the trunk open and used as a secure storage area when the top is off.
