That's what I figured I would do. Or have a down firing and push box all the way to seats. Idk will see. I just wanted some info or opinions before I go ahead and buy anything

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to fit a 15 or 2 12's in there. However, you will most likely have to give up the entire cargo area. What I would do is measure the max size box you can fit in there. Then figure out how much internal volume it's gonna net you. And from there you can start looking for subs that will work well in that air space that you have.

1978cj7jk2012 built a custom box for 2 12" L7s behind his back seat In his two doorand it fits pretty snug. I have 2 15" L7s in a big ported box, but I have to take the back seat out. I usually don't have it in simply because it's WAY too much damn bass, and I'm a basshead. Oh plus A 15 is way too deep to put behind the back seat. No pictures of his setup but I'm sure he'll be posting on this thread soon...

Build a custom box to fit the contour of the spot where the factory rubicon sub would sit. Make it taller and snug up against the seat, six inches deep, port it into the back of the seat. You could fit a 12" sub, no problem.

I run two 10" JL in a custom box, with a 700 watt JL amp (300x1 100x4) . It blew my mind how good it sounds. But hey, what do I know?

I guess unless it sounds like WWI and all the highs and mids are out the window (IE 2000 watts to a Kicker L7 ), its just not good enough!
