In my honest and comparative experience w/the Quadratec Tweeters VS the very simple Tweeter Mod, there is a clear and very obvious sound difference...

I did the Tweeter Mod and it was/great.

Got the itch for more, so I pulled the trigger on the Quad Tweets.
Installed them and was very disappointed as they sounded barely better then stock and not even close to being as good as the Tweet Mod.
I quickly and neatly re-boxed the Quad Tweets and returned them back to Quadratec for a complete refund.

IMHO, don't waste your money or time.

The stock tweeter mod is not for the base stereo. The capacitor on the base stereo tweeter is matched correctly.

Wow, surprised to hear that.

Maybe because the tweeters were the last thing I upgraded on my sound system ?
I already had a new head unit, Polk speakers and an Infinity Basslink.

I'm looking to my stock system just isn't enough. I wonder how the tweeters in the 15s compare.

The Alpine tweeter in the '15's sound way better than the previous tombstones. Much crisper and balanced. I would be curious how this mod does on the new tweeters..

Should be easy enough to check if you pull it out and measure the resistance and check the cap microfarads. I would guess it's the same as the 14 tbh.
