Default Steering wheel controls

I just bought a 2013 2 door and noticed that none of the steering wheel controls work other than cruise control. No EVIC or radio controls. Any thoughts on where to start looking?

clockspring. Everything in the steering wheel runs through the clockspring.

Try to disconnect the battery for a while and then reconnect to see if it makes difference. If it doesn't work, look at the clock spring ribbon cable in the steering wheel. If it is bad, replace it.

Also note Jeep extended the clock spring warranty replacement to 150k miles. My 13 had same issues and was replaced FOC at dealership. There is a bulletin about it on the FCA warranty site. Google 'Clockspring Replacement (X68 Warranty Extension)'

hit/beat the steering wheel a couple times with the butt of your hand... works for me!
