Spod install location alternative
Want to pull the trigger on spod but already have vacuum canister moved to the preferred mounting location. Anyone with a 2012 install in different area than recommended? Pics?

I have not seen it mounted anywhere but the intended location, but that's not to say it couldn't be done. It's just if you are going to purchase something that is model specific then most folks place it where the company designed it for. I know this is semi-counter productive at first, but I think that you could easily fab up a bracket (couple small pieces of metal stock from h.w. store) for the canister that would move it back 6-10 inches and you'd have plenty of room to install your sPod.
