Both of my kids fish ( 11 & 14 ) and my daughter ( 11 ) fishes out of the Rouge River in Oregon and brought in 7 trout and a bunch of squaw fish, but I still had to stop fishing and re-string her line WHEN she got snagged in the 15mph water.
This is what I meant by " you don't get to fish if you take the kids fishing "
It's always nice to get to take the kids out fishing though

If anyone has any input on how abouts going through with this project I would be very grateful.

Just my idea:
24-26" monitor mounted on the tail gate. That way I could drop the back seats and the kids would have some play room. Mount their Xbox where the factory sub goes and I haven't really did the math about wiring the sounds yet.
ive got the tv and nav2go lockpick with media harness. Its hacks into your Mygig unlocks all the BS safety features, and gives you the inputs and outputs for gaming systems and additional monitors. This of course is assuming you have mygig?

Don't got the Mygig. I thought it was just a navigational tool, which I really don't need on this island, didn't realize it was a full media source or I prolly would've op'd for it.

Any professional car audio shop can install tv's and a system. Open a phone book and call for quotes.

Thats just being Daddy, and I wouldn't trade it for all the fishing in the world.

Try going to work 6 days a week, pick up the kids from school, make sure they make it to Bball/Fball/Baseball/Vball practice and all their games and the "daddy get waves down Honoli'i, we go surf". I love hanging out with my boys and being Daddy but I think a few hours of uninterrupted fishing is not too much to ask.

This is the car I traded for my jeep.

It kept me entertained at car shows.
It took awhile to build but worked great in the end. A lot of sanding to get it to fit just right.

Well, the xB didn't have room under the hood for a second battery. So, I guess under the xbox you could put a lid and a cooler there.
Or... Square it off a bit in the front and put in a sliding drawer?

Forget all that and put in a mini-pop machine in there somehow.
