drag is bad but in my experience averaging ~17.6 with or without
not even when the roof rack is on (thule mid foot, load bars dakine and inno)
put something on the rack and it's a whole other story
only time I've seen it drop was when the winch and front bumper were added
tires of course
full door/half door/trail door/ no doors = no diff
hardtop/softop/mesh/straps/nothing = no diff
ymmv

Not to hijack but...
did you put stops and/or ferrules on the limb risers? Trying to decide how I want to do this (have the parts but not a swage). Thinking quick disconnect so they do not have to be on 24/7 as well. Looks like you have a tensioner on for adjustment. Looks and I assume works very good!

Just some 1/4" turnbuckles for tension if they loosen up I snug them up a bit, if I'm working under the hood or something I can loosen them up. I ran a different setup for a while till a big ol branch knocked it out of commission then I upped to a thicker cable and these.
