A few questions... What type of paint did you use? What size head unit is that? And where did the side fascias come from?

Ya, pros and cons for each I guess. You dont have to look down with a window mount. Larger screens don't block your view with dash mount. Portable devices can be moved. And built-in devices don't have any batteries, chargers or mounting devices to fool with. ECT - ECT - ECT. Can't argue that a package unit would be cheeper and more efficient tho. My Kenwood updates with a thumb drive ( easy enough ). And it's running "Garmin" also.
