Security bolts for A-pillar mounts and lights. Will this work?
So after contacting multiple vendors regarding high security bolts, it seems that none will place an order for less than 100PCS minimum which will easily run over $100 plus the cost of the special keys.
I found these bolts from McGard, what do you guys think, will it work?

It's a flat head and measure 0.613" / 15.5 mm wide and 1.5" thread length which is right around the stock bolts

You can certainly try them, I'd be happy with some torx bolts
My only experience with security bolts is my subaru wrx and that was bad, the tool was a pain to work with, my other experience was with a Thule roof rack and that was ok

I bought the Gorilla 781S security bolts. We'll see how it works out I guess. I'll post pics and thoughts once I get them on for anyone who's interested in doing this.

The first pic shows how you install and take them off. You need two of the nuts to put on and take off. After you install and tighten with the 2 nuts like shown in the first pic, you remove the outermost nut then there is no way to get a grip on it with a wrench..
