Searcy dual battery isolator has a steady red light??
Just finished the install of Benchmark Design Dual Battery per the pictures that were posted on a different thread earlier last week.
I took the vehicle out for a test drive. When I got home, I opened the hood and there is a steady red light on the "auxilliary side" of the Searcy Isolator.
Any thoughts on what the lights might mean on a Searcy Isolator?
Thanks.

I forgot to mention that this is a Stage 3 kit. I have gone through all my instructions that came with the kit and found nothing that explains the lights.

Hey Ron are you refering to the Benchmark Smart Isolator? if so then no worries the red light will stay on for a bit after you shut the Jeep off..
the light will come on once the main battery reaches 13.2v meaning full charge and the allow the AUX battery to begin charging..

Hi Ron,
Anytime the batteries are above 13.2V, they stay combined and the red LED stays illuminated.
If the batteries drop below 12.7V, the light turns off and the batteries are isolated.
Once the Main battery is recharged by the alternator to 13.2V, then they are re-combined and the light turns on.
