Looks like the upper part has to come off too. Any screws in this?
Yeah, I know...but it's easier to ask than go look this time of night

Yes the top piece does come off before install. Two screws in the sun visor area. one plastic type retaining screw near the top on the side. This one is the problem sometimes because they don't unscrew right or don't work the same after unscrewing. You may have to go to your local parts store to get another.(Lowes has them also in their automotive fastener section) Then its just the two clips that come out with the pillar cover with a little force.

A little help is needed.
Ok so I wired up my switch pod, got power to it according to this link; https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-e...source-191552/
My lights come on on the pod no problem. The problem comes when I try to wire in my 360 degree amber light (I'm in construction). I have the red power wire to the light connected according to this link; http://www.omix-ada.com/instructions/17235.01.pdf
So I'm not 100% sure where the issue is lying. If I'm getting a light on on the pod, it's obviously nothing there. I'm just looking for some pointers. The only thing I can think to do is try to find a better ground for the light. I had to stop for the night because it surpassed the light hours and unfortunately I don't have a voltmeter on hand at all. Just wanted to see if anybody has had any similar issues.

There is 2 different types of drawing on the last link you have posted. One is for a power seeking circuit the other is ground seeking circuit. Which one are you wired up as?

Just ordered switches from them for my RR pod, I got the Text sideways on the new Etched symbols.. Just have to shave down the sides a little bit for a nice fit.. OTRATTW even threw in 2 blank rockers for me to practice sanding on...
