It really doesnt matter what the volt capacity for the switches are, they will work just fine on a 12v system. The only thing that is different from a 12v switch and a 24v switch is when the light on the switch is turned on. Example, I ordered the 24v switched in a blue color and when i turn on my switches the light to indicate that the switch is activated is a turquoise/green color, almost similar to the factory green gauge light. If I would have gone with 12v switch the color of the switch would have been exactly what i would have seen when i turn the switch on and the switch light indicator would have possibly been too bright when activated, for some people.
