Default Rock light question

Recently bought 2 sets of the walmart lights to do WOL's rock lights... I was wondering how I can run both sets to one switch or if its even possible? Thanks!

I have both sets of mine running through one switch. At first the output was really dim but then I added a relay with two outputs and it made a huge difference. So definitely use a relay.

I think mine has a 30 amp fuse. The relay is under the hood by the battery.

If your running the 55w lights? All 4 of them will pull 220 watts. 220 watts / 12 volts = 18.33 amps. I would recommend a 30 Amp relay with a #10 awg primary conductor. Then use a 20 amp fuse in the primary fuse holder. On the secondary side of the relay, run a #16 awg circuit to each light. Then just land all four conductors to the #87 terminal of the relay.

I just installed my rock lights and the rears are really dim. I used a relay but only a 4 prong if I swap to a 5 prong (2 accessory) will it fix light output in the rear?? I'm stumped I used the same set up that I did for my 2 pair of KC lights in the front and no dim issue...... Please help!

i would use 2 relays, one for the front lights and one for the rear.you can run a wire from the switch to the first relay the from the same wire to the second relay to trigger both.and make sure the wires to the lights be protected so they don't wear and cause a short.

Your wireing method should work. If your lights are dim, check your connections and grounds.
