Looking to install my Rigid SR-M reverse lights and am thinking of installing the Rigid flasher as well. First, does anyone know which flasher I'll need(3amp or 6amp)? I'm assuming I can wire this so i have one switch to turn them on solid and one switch to activate the flasher. If anyone has a wiring diagram or any assistance they can offer I'd greatly appreciate it. This will be my first electrical job, but I have two buddies willing to help who've done some amount of wiring.

Same concept, other tread. The 3a is fine, but difficult through an SPod.

 

someone told me to use a code 3 model 710 flasher...supposedly it's easier..going to try to figure it out.

 

According to Rigid, via a Raptor forum, install the relay per the instructions and run the white (pattern change) wire to a momentary switch. It'll run solid then you'll have to cycle through all the flash patterns to get it back to solid.

 

SPOD with Code3 710 flasher module on my rigid dually floodlights and led spot lights...can't wait to tie in more lights.
