Default Rigid Light interference with radio since Antenna X install

Anyone else having static interference, I have the pillar mounts and D'2s installed up top but noticed today during bad storm when Lights are on stock radio loses signal, doesn't do it with stock antenna just the Antenna X?

I get a ton of interference when running the windshield lights and I basically lose the radio when I hit the 50" on. I don't really mind though

I don't have an Antenna X antenna, but an AMI instead and have noticed this with mine as well. It's not really that bad when the signal strength is high, but as the signal strength weakens, the effects become much more observable.

From what I understand it is not due to the antenna. Most LED lights put out a frequency that will block the radio signal regardless of which antenna you use. Unless you mount the antenna on the rear of the vehicle away from the lights, or try putting the lights up front on the bumper. The actual cause is not the LED itself but the circuitry that runs them. So it is possible that you could switch to a different brand of light and be ok, however that's an expensive thing to try. Best thing is to bring a CD or your i-pod with you and use it instead of the radio. Not sure if it's blocking the satellite signals or not, you can try that out.

Here's a little reference material:
