Rigid Ind LED Flasher
#11
I actually did solve this.
Installed the flasher to their own switch and spliced the flasher's lead into the light's wiring harness on the (+) lead. This kept the lights on the normal on/off ability through their original wiring harness, and then would strobe them when the flasher switch was activated. If both switches were on at the same time, they'd stay solid. This worked fine, but the various strobe patterns (alternating) would back feed between the lights and make the strobe patterns indistinguishable. To correct, the back feed problem between the lights and I had to install diodes to isolate the current to each respective light.
Now, I've got the JK wired that the dually fogs use the stock JK column fog light switch through a relay, my rear facing duallys on an sPod switch, my A-series rock lights (6) on an sPod switch and the flasher ("Zombie Lights") on an sPod switch. With the flasher is activated, the fogs/rear facing are in a triple alternating strobe pattern, and the rock lights cycle through all flash patterns alternating left to right.
It's bright. I'd post video or pics to help with the install, but the Jeep is 7000mi on the other side of the world right now.

Thanks...I just finished...I used a Code3 710 flasher module I got off eBay for $17...I wired the code3 hot and mode1 switch to sPOD switch 6...I used 3amp axial rectifier diodes at the flasher which only has a left and right light connection...ran the left and right lights from the flasher to splice into my led windshield and bumper lights...used the diodes on the sPOD where the lights were connected to switches 1 and 2. If the lights are on...they won't flash...flip switch 6 on sPOD it powers the flasher and the mode switch...all the lights flash...if I flip on the switches for the individual lights they stay steady....its really cool...thinking of tapping into headlights and taillights strictly for off road and such...lmao...my kids love it... :-)
