The spread is great. I was worried that they would be too low, but the diffused lens is perfect for spreading the light, and having them wide on the bumpers is perfect for using your side mirrors while reversing. I don't have a rear view camera yet, but I can only imagine these will be perfect for that too. And, it's nice having them low, so when I'm hooking up my trailer, it's not blinding me. I haven't had to use them yet for a tailgater, but am looking forward to soon do when the need arises. This is a highly recommended mod, even if you're only a mall crawler!
