Currently, I have many brake lights. I have ANZO LED taillights, off-road elements lug led brake lights and the factory 3rd brake light. I want to remove the stock third brake light but I am unsure how to do it. Can I cut the brake light off and cut the wires?? If I do that, will the wires work with the lug LED brake lights? They are tapped into the 3rd brake light wires. If I just cut them off, and leave the wires open, will the lug LEDs work?? Any advice would be awesome!! Thanks!

Disconnect the light piece and pull the wires away from it. Cut the piece off flat with the top there and hook up the wires you removed. I've got it like this but just the LED lug lights.

X2. You can simply cut the factory third brake light arm off. Unscrew the light and pull wiring through to the base. Just remember to tape off/seal the wire ends or factory light connector.

Disco'd the factoid light wire in the tail gator and passed the wire back under the grommet. If you need the 3rd brake wire for your lug-lights then you might have to cut it and do a water-proof splice.
Unplugged mine in the tail gator cause I have swinger... then tucked just in case I want to revert... brake wire reroute through tail light void.

Remove the third brake light from the housing. I think it's 2 or 4 torx bolts. There is a disconnect in the back of the light. As far as the arm, you'll have to saw it off as mentioned above. If you don't care about keeping the harness, then just cut it where you spiced the wires for the lug nut lights and seal the exposed ends.
