Default remote start components needed to do the job?

I am considering installing an aftermarket alarm with remote start ability. My jeep now does NOT have a factory remote start. In the past when I have done alarm installs with remote start you either had to have this little box that a spare key went inside of (which I hate this idea) or you had a little loop that went around the sensor that read the key up on the column where the key goes in. Besides the alarm what would be required to get an aftermarket remote start to work with a 08' JK?

I think it's the DBALL that they installed for mine. I got a viper 5704 put in at an electronics/ car audio place.
